RobertBast, December 5, 2002 at 8:19:00 AM AEDTIndia's mythical river not mythical "Geologists in India say they have found an elephant fossil in the Thar desert of Rajasthan, supporting earlier theories that the vast desert was once a fertile area. They said the discovery also lent credence to popular belief that a mighty river, named in the ancient Hindu Vedic texts as Saraswati, flowed through the region thousands of years ago." This supports two ideas:

RobertBast, November 30, 2002 at 9:29:00 PM AEDT95% the same as chimps, not 98.5% "We are more unique than previously thought, according to new comparisons of human and chimpanzee DNA. It has long been held that we share 98.5 per cent of our genetic material with our closest relatives. That now appears to be wrong. In fact, we share less than 95 per cent of our genetic material, a three-fold increase in the variation between us and chimps."

RobertBast, November 29, 2002 at 9:31:00 AM AEDTMore underwater discoveries The China Post reports: Underwater archaeologists yesterday announced the discovery of a man-made wall submerged under the waters of the Pescadores Islands that could be at least six and seven thousand years old. Steve Shieh, the head of the planning committee for the Taiwan Underwater Archaeology Institute, said the wall was discovered to the northwest of Tong-chi Island in the Pescadores towards the end of September. The stone wall, with an average height of one meter and a width of 50 centimeters, covers a distance of over 100 meters, Hsieh said. The wall ran along the ocean floor at depths of between 25 and 30 meters, he added. Space Imaging reports: Lake Bracciano, 20 miles northwest of Rome, Italy - the site of a 7,800-year-old settlement discovered 400 yards off the shore in 25 feet of water. Archaeologist Maria Antonietta Fugazzol a Delpino began excavating the Neolithic village, now called La Marmotta, when a dredging machine encountered the site while digging a trench for a new aqueduct system. More than 3,000 wood posts have been excavated, along with roof timbers, utensils, painted pottery and other artifacts. Fugazzola’s surveys suggest that the village covered five acres. The archaeological dig was recently featured in the November issue of Discover magazine.

RobertBast, November 28, 2002 at 10:22:00 AM AEDTGalileo wakes up I'm very wary of these types of announcements from NASA. Spaceships that work fine until there is data they don't wish to share with the public. "The Galileo spacecraft, which went silent November 5 after making its closest approach to Jupiter, is now in good working order, except for its tape recorder, mission scientists said this week." The same thing happened on Eros, spacecraft miraculously starts working again...

RobertBast, November 27, 2002 at 9:53:00 PM AEDTHumans in Oregon 10,000 Years Ago Researchers have found traces of a human presence on the Oregon coast dating to more than 10,000 years ago... The discovery, which dates to the end of the last Ice Age, also lends weight to the theory that early inhabitants of the area might have arrived by sea, rather than by land... The findings are about the same age as a few sites in coastal Alaska, British Columbia and California...

Which is roughly when the last poleshift occured - locations changed and so did climates...

Or just browse their site to learn more about the new wonder-fabric, Demron. link me RobertBast, November 22, 2002 at 9:05:00 AM AEDT Did dogs evolve at the last cataclysm? Swedish scientists now believe that "all modern dogs originate from a small number of female wolves living in East Asia some 15,000 years ago". It is well known that the many different varieties of dog we have today is due to human intervention - deliberate breeding strategies because we love them as pets. But how did they change from wolves to dogs? Why? Where is the missing link? I suggest: Some wolves mutated into a new species, dogs, during the last cataclysm. Cosmic rays caused the mutations.

RobertBast, November 15, 2002 at 9:41:00 PM AEDTStart saving up for your radiation-proof suit I guess if stops gamma and x-rays it will stop cosmic rays as well. This is excellent news, no reason why it won't be available to the public by 2012. I'm posting the complete article here in case in disappears online... Report: New Fabric Protects Against Radiation LONDON (Reuters) - Scientists have created what is claimed to be the world's first radiation-proof fabric which provides as much protection as a lead vest but at a fraction of the weight. Instead of heavy metals to block radiation and X-rays, the new fabric called Demron is non toxic, lead-free and fused between two layers of woven fabric. "Demron's potential applications range from lightweight full-body suits -- that would allow the wearer to move unencumbered in high-radiation areas -- to protective tents and radiation-proof linings for aircraft and spacecraft," New Scientist magazine said Wednesday. Unlike traditional protective clothing that only protects against alpha radiation, the new fabric developed by the Florida-based company Radiation Shield Technologies also blocks beta and gamma rays. All three are emitted by the decay of radioactive substances and X-rays. The fabric was originally designed to protect medical staff from X-ray radiation in operating rooms but its creators believe it will also be useful in the nuclear industry. But Janine Claber, of British Nuclear Fuels, said the real test of how good the fabric is will depend on the level of protection it offers and how it reacts when subjected to radiation.

RobertBast, November 14, 2002 at 9:15:00 PM AEDTMust've been some hurricane! No numbers given, but one volunteer "said he has been shocked by the volume of bones discovered during the past month" in a South Carolina limestone quarry. "The archaeologists think the animals may have been killed by a hurricane or died in various locations and washed downstream to one area." That would explain why we see piles of dead animals after hurricanes in our day and age! Tweak the dating a little and this is yet more evidence of a massive cataclysm 10 or 12 thousand years ago.
link me RobertBast, November 14, 2002 at 9:19:00 AM AEDT Possible poleshift precursor found This article presents evidence that “upheavals” may have begun in the inner Earth between 1998 and 2002, where the liquid outer core meets the overlying plastic mantle. And concludes that, although more supporting evidence is needed: "What is tantalizingly clear, however, is that measurable changes in Earth's mass distribution -- that may be precursors of larger motions leading directly to pole shift -- did in fact begin to occur almost exactly as predicted [by Cayce], around 1998."

RobertBast, November 12, 2002 at 9:34:00 PM AEDTNASA discovers ancient bridge "Space images taken by NASA reveal a mysterious ancient bridge in the Palk Strait between India and Sri Lanka. The recently discovered bridge currently named as Adam's Bridge is made of chain of shoals, c.18 mi (30 km) long." This is excellent supporting evidence for the Ramayana legend being true. In Graham Hancock's book Underworld, he tells a small part of the tale: "To build a bridge across the sea, the bears and monkeys hurled trees and rocks into the water which by the power of Rama stayed afloat. The Gods looked down enthralled as the monkey armies moved across the seas on Rama's bridge" The bridge's unique curvature suggests that it is man-made. Or monkey & bear made. Or two mutations of human nicknamed monkeys and bears? Follow the link below for many images.

RobertBast, November 11, 2002 at 5:28:00 PM AEDTMagnetic Poleshift update Even Scientific American is writing about it. Scientists are saying it could happen in 1,000 years time. But what do they base that on? A slow gradual decline? Perhaps the reversal will sneak up on us like an earthquake, and the current rate of decline is just a little tremor that comes before the big change, happening in 2012 perhaps. Follow the link below for more on this.

RobertBast, November 9, 2002 at 6:57:00 PM AEDTNon-genetic influence on descendants "Grandfathers who overeat might ruin their grandchildren's health, say Swedish researchers. The study suggests that diet, which does not change genes, can nevertheless influence future generations." Supposedly non-genetic changes can not be inherited. The researchers believe that sperm can program themselves according to current conditions, and in effect program their children differently.

RobertBast, November 8, 2002 at 4:50:00 PM AEDTin Brief - South American Lake news Lake Titicaca - some pre-Inca ruins have ben found below the surface, which, although aren't so deep, might be just as interesting as the existing ruins on land. Cosmic Ray Mutated Critters could be living in on the border of Bolivia and Chile. This is where the world's highest lake is, a spot which receives more UV (and therefore cosmic) rays than anywhere else on Earth. A team of scientists are currently trekking there to take a first peek at what might live in the lake. link me Thursday, 7. November 2002
RobertBast, November 7, 2002 at 8:15:00 PM AEDTMule has baby! "DNA tests have confirmed that a Moroccan mule did give birth to a foal. Veterinary experts say the foal's father was a donkey and its mother a true mule.' Hybrids are a mix between two species, mules are a cross between a horse and a donkey. Hybrids have always been known to be sterile, unable to breed. This is the equivalent of an ape and a human having a monkey child. I hope they check this out to the fullest and let us know what is going on. File under evolution temporarily!

RobertBast, November 2, 2002 at 2:51:00 PM AEDTSun causing floods "In June 2002 there had been strong perturbation of geomagnetic field, in fact, the strongest for over a hundred years. It was preceded by extremely high solar activity." This is being touted as the cause of major flooding in Europe at that time. If 2012 combines much greater solar activity with the ever increasing pertubations of the geomagnetic field, maybe there'll be a flood of bblical proportions in 2012?
